In-Person Training
DoD AKN Air Force Training (In-Person)
Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK on July 16-18, 2024 from 0800-1700
This is an in-person, three-day training course where trainees will learn how the AKN system is organized, how to create project metadata and input data, how data sharing levels work, and how to visualize, analyze, and aggregate data for conservation purposes. More details are available in the course description and registration request form linked below.
This training is open to all DoD personnel and partners who support avian data collection on DoD lands or in coordination with DoD entities. There is no cost for this training except for participant travel expenses.
Seats for this training are prioritized for Air Force personnel.
